Jambofresh Avocado smoothie with granola recipe

Avocadosmoothie withgranola

Ingredients required
For the almond-vanilla granola: : For the avocado smoothie :
Peeled almonds - 120 grams Bananas - 4
Oat flakes - 200 grams Avocados - 2
Maple syrup 6 tbs Yoghurt - 12 tbs
Melted coconut oil - 4 tbs Ginger - 2 cm
Vanilla extract - 1 tbs Limes (sap) - 2
Cinnamon Vanilla extract - 2 tsp
Salt - pinch Honey (to taste)
How to make it
Make the Granola:
  1. Start by chopping the almonds. They do not need to be crushed, simply roughly chopped.
  2. Place the almonds, together with all the other ingredients, in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
  3. Pre-heat the oven to 150°C.
  4. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread it with an even layer of the granola mixture.
  5. Place the tray in the oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Once the 25 minutes have elapsed and your kitchen is permeated with the delicious smell of cookies, remove the granola from the oven.
  7. Leave it to cool before transferring it to an airtight jar for storage.
  8. You can keep it for up to eight weeks.
Make the avocado smoothie:
  1. Put the bananas, avocado, yoghurt, vanilla extract, juice of the limes, ginger and the honey in a blender, and mix into a smooth paste.
  2. Serve by filling pretty cocktail glasses with consecutive layers of the granola and smoothie.
  3. Garnish with a fresh mint leaf.

Main course salad with poached chicken and avocado

Dit heb je nodig
Chicken breast - 350 grams Mixed lettuce - 30 grams
Pointed pepper - 2 red Avocado - 2
Red onion - 1/2 For the dressing: - seperator
Yoghurt - 8 tablespoons Fresh ginger - 5 grams
Garlic - 1 clove Fresh chives - 5 grams
Pepper - to taste salt - to taste

How to make it
  1. Fill and boil a kettle of water.
  2. Put the chicken breast in a saucepan, add the boiling water and leave to simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Cut the sweet pepper into strips, removing the pith and seeds in the meantime.
  4. Finely dice the onion.
  5. Peel the ginger and crush it into a dish using a garlic press.
  6. Next, add the yoghurt and a little salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly. Your dressing is now ready.
  7. Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone, spoon out the flesh and cut it into strips.
  8. Remove the chicken from the pan with a fork, place it on a cutting board and cut in half to check that it is fully cooked. If not, then return it to the pan for a little longer.
  9. Cut the chicken into thin slices. 
  10. Divide the lettuce evenly onto two plates, together with the sweet pepper, avocado and red onion.
  11. Either serve the dressing separately in a sauce boat, or divide it evenly over the two plates of salad.

Jambofresh Guacemole recipe


Ingredients required
Ripe avocados - 2 Red onion - 1/2
Garlic - 2 cloves Tomato - 1/2
Coriander - to taste Red chili - 1/2
Lime - 1 Salt and pepper
How to make it
  1. To make the guacamole, finely chop all the ingredients with a sharp knife, add the lime juice, then mash the entire mixture with a fork.
  2. Season the guacamole with a little salt and pepper.

Jambofresh healthy chocolate mousse recipe

Healthy chocolate mousse

Ingredients required
Avocado - 1
Banana - 1
Cacoa - 25 grams
How to make it
  1. Finely mash the banana with a fork, then put it in a saucepan.
  2. Cut the avocado in half and remove the stone.
  3. Spoon the flesh out of the skin, cut into strips and add to the pan.
  4. Also add the cocoa powder to the contents of the pan, then whisk it into a smooth mousse using a hand blender.
  5. Spoon the mousse into a dish or bowl. (Use two tablespoons to form smooth quenelles of the chocolate mousse to serve.)
